Chris entered into legal practise after an 18 year career in the Police including as a Detective and Police Prosecutor. This experience has provided Chris with a unique skill set in relating to all members of the community.

Chris now works with local people on a wide range of legal issues including succession planning, estate administration, enduring powers of attorney, relationship property division, child custody/ guardianship disputes and Police prosecutions.

Chris has been appointed as both a Youth Advocate (Youth Court) and Lawyer for Child (Family Court). The School Trustees Association refer school boards of trustees to Chris to conduct independent investigations on their behalf.

Chris and his family live in the North Waikato area.  He is a former player and passionate supporter of the Ngaruawahia Rugby League Club as well as a trustee for the Gordonton Woodlands Trust.
